Panorama Vacation Retreat At Horsethief Lodge, Panorama

We had a fantastic time at Horsethief Lodge! The location offered everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the variety of outdoor activities was a huge plus. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service at check-in, and the suite had some temperature issues that made it hard to get comfortable. Overall, it was a good value for a family vacation spot but not without its quirks.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort, which served as a perfect base for exploring the beautiful national parks nearby. The unit was clean, spacious, and quiet during the off-season, and I particularly enjoyed having a gas grill on the deck. Although we experienced a water boil order, the staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with drinking water whenever needed. The facilities, including a miniature golf course and access to whitewater rafting on Toby Creek, added to the experience, but there were minor issues like firm beds and below-average water pressure that could be improved.

I had an amazing time at this mountain resort! It's perfect for families with so many activities available right on-site. The hiking and biking options are endless, and the nearby town has a wonderful artistic vibe and a beautiful lake. However, if you're looking for a more secluded experience, be mindful that it can get busy during peak times.
